umm...BOTH O.O
Soap is effective at cleaning because it contains molecules with both hydrophilic (water-attracting) and hydrophobic (dirt-attracting) properties. When soap is mixed with water, it helps to surround and lift away dirt, oil, and germs from surfaces, allowing them to be rinsed away. This dual nature of soap molecules makes it an excellent cleaner for removing a wide variety of substances.
Combined with fat, it makes soap. Lye (sodium hydroxide) has also been used as a cleaner, disinfectant, drain opener, and as an industrial chemical.
The 10 chemicals you could find in a kitchen are: dishwashing detergent, oven cleaner, antibacterial soap, glass cleaner, drain cleaner. Some people keep all purpose cleaner, hand soap, ammonia and floor cleaner.
Some recommended detailing products include microfiber towels, Windex glass cleaner, Lexol leather cleaner, and Carnuba based waxes. Zymol makes a great soap.
