Hello--
I am going to add a little information, based on what I think is what you are wanting some insight into. If it misses a bit, no harm anyway--
Meat contains many minerals, and they would have to vary in each instance--for one thing, what the animal ate.
But here is a consideration as to the healthiness vs unhealthiness of meat, and a recent example that fit me: It depends on what your particular need is at the time. In general, red meat is recommended a maximum of twice, small servings, a week. Many can show the impurities as reason to avoid it altogether. A few often overlooked factors:
(1) This is true, generally, to give you the best, general diet. But, for example, I had an internal bleeding problem, and became slightly anemic. Now the rules change temporarily. General health takes a back seat to "Getting nutrition in as soon as possible" to correct the anemia, and I ate red meat for several days. Once corrected, general health ideas again take priority.
(2) Chicken is made out to be a great alternative. It is better, but it still has some of the downsides of red meat--just not as many. I leave that to you to check out--easily researchable.
Fish is a solid alternative to both, and salmon and a few others have cardiac benefits that are highly touted. If you don't mind the $5 cost, and want a simple way to know you went the very best, buy those red salmon fillets that are about the area in size of your hand.
As always, any of us with special health problems should check with doctor, although hard to find much danger in the fish diet. That is exactly why it is promoted so often.
