Peppers are odd because the onions cucumbers and tomatoes are circled and the peppers are not.

An odd question, but I will try to give you a legitimate answer: A maximum of about one year. Carrots left in the ground over winter will usually still be edible the next spring, about a year after they've been planted. But as soon as the weather turns warm, they will "bolt" and form a seed stalk. Then they die.
