In the "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" special, Linus Van Pelt sits in the pumpkin patch, waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear. He believes that the Great Pumpkin will rise from the patch and deliver toys to good children on Halloween night.
