Why did angel Gabriel have to choke Muhammad?

most of the time he appeared to the prophet as human ,who look like dahia al kalbi who was a friend of the prophet PBUH.the prophet saw gabrial also with 600 wings.

To tell Mohammed Prophet the message of God. Angle Gabriel before this also came twice to the world to tell about the word of God. First he come to tell about the arrival of John the Baptist and Second about the arrival of Jesus who would bring salvation to the whole world. In whom if any body believes will be saved. Again the children of Ismail were going the wrong way .Then Angle Gabriel came to tell the Children of Ismail to follow Jesus. The message to prophet mohammed was to follow Jesus. The true god who has already arrived by them.

Angel Gabriel visited the prophet Muhammad in the cave Hira located in Mountain Jabal an-Nour. The angel instructed him to proclaim in the capacity of a prophet sent by God. Later Muhammad with help of his wife Khadija and cousin Waraqah, amassed enough confidence and began converting people into Islam.

Never in scripture has an angel bringing a good message attacked a prophet.

Mohamad knew it was the devil and said this to his first wife Khadija who re-assured him that it was an angel not the devil (although she was not there)


The Archangel Gabriel (AS) had already been coming to holy Prophets (May peace be upon them all) to deliver the message of Almighty God to them.
When Hazrat Gabriel (AS) appeared before the holy Prophet (SAW) and said,"Read, Read in the name of thy Rab (Provider), ...." But the holy Prophet (SAW) told him that he was not an educated person. Then Hazrat Gabriel (AS) hugged/embraced him thrice.
It was but natural for the holy Prophet (SAW) to be a little confused at the appearance of an angel in the Cave of Hira. It is not so comfortable for any Prophet to be at ease with an angel in the beginning. Recall how Hazrat Moses (AS) was afraid of his own stick when it took the shape of a serpent.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) received the revelation from Allah (God) through Angel Jibril (Gabriel) while he was meditating in a cave ( Gaar-e-Hira) in a mountain called Jable-e- Noor about 5 Km east of Makkah city in Saudi Arabia.
