When brussel sprouts turn pink after being cooked and stored with acidic ingredients like lemon and balsamic vinegar, it is likely due to a chemical reaction between the acids and the pigments in the sprouts. The pink color may be caused by anthocyanins, which are water-soluble pigments that can change color in different pH environments. The acidity of the lemon and balsamic vinegar may alter the pH of the brussel sprouts, causing them to turn pink over time. Additionally, the presence of oxygen during storage can also contribute to this color change process.
Well, it's a matter of opinion really. I perferably don't like brussel sprouts but if you try it you may say differently. I know a few people who do actually like brussel sprouts but most people dislike it than like it.I do recommand that you try it with other thingd like melted cheese or chocolate (if you want to go a little crazy with your experiment!) or cooked in with a meal. This is an easy way of eating brussel sprouts without wanting to barf! I hope this is been helpful to you! :)Luv
whenever they look good... i have some broccoli and its been giving some good heads. just cut it off when you thinks its time. its up to you.
Yes so if you are a arty farty person lay of them over Christmas and do you're family a favour by not toxinating there house with vile gases. It will also stop alot of C02 gases from damaging our universe if you did not contribute. So don't eat brussel sprouts over Christmas and do the whole worlda favour. Thank you, and goodnight.

Like most plants it has some sugars that turn to starch soon after picking, but only small amounts.
Well, isn't that just a happy little question! The fear of Brussels sprouts is called "Lachanophobia." But remember, just like painting a beautiful landscape, it's important to approach new experiences with an open mind and a positive attitude. Who knows, you might just discover that Brussels sprouts aren't so scary after all!
i hav no idea. if u eat brussel sprouts then u r WEIRD! ---- Because it's healthy and some people (like, um, er, me) like the taste of sprouts. I grew up eating frozen brussel sprouts and couldn't stomach them my whole life until I met my husband. He grew up on fresh brussel sprouts that his mom steamed. The key is to not over cook them and add butter, salt and pepper. If they're too overcooked they get bitter and if they're not done enough their no fun to eat!
Brussell sprouts
"Holes" was first a book and then a movie, the book is kinda long and boring. The movie is a little strange, its okay I guess, but its one of those movies you'll only want to see once. "Holes" is kind of like brussel sprouts, you either like it or you don't, there really is no in-between. I hope that this answer is useful to you!!
Basically you don't. You only cook and consume the leaf-buds i.e. the sprouts. The sprouts should be removed from the stalk and then cooked. The stalk is far too woody to either cook or consume. If you have a goat give it the stalk as a Christmas treat.
Yes, you can add brown sugar to apple cider vinegar to create a sweeter flavor profile that resembles balsamic vinegar. The sugar will help balance the acidity of the vinegar, providing a richer taste. However, while it can mimic some aspects of balsamic vinegar, it won't replicate the complex flavors and thickness of true balsamic. Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference for the desired sweetness.
