They don't. Usually mufins are best fresh baked, but there is no reason they can't keep over for a day or two. To reheat and get close to fresh just wrap one or two in a damp paper towel and put them in the microwave for about a minute on high. They tend to dry out a bit as they age. 3 days is about all I would leave them.
