In order for our body to run efficiently, it needs to be fueled. School, work and just being active requires a daily intake of of 1500 to 2000 calories a day, depending on your age and size. If you feel hungry much of the time - assuming you are eating, you may not be eating the quality of food your body needs.

Most fast food is high in calories but low in nutritional value, say you eat 1800 calories worth of burger, fries and soda from McWendys Jr and a couple hours later you are starving; chances are much of the calories you had just consumed were empty or fat. Your body immediately sucked out what it could and discarded the rest.

You need to eat a better variety of food from a well balanced selections including some lean meat, fresh veggies & fruit and rice, pasta or multi-grain bread. Many of these meals will have fewer calories but better nutritional value so you feel sated for longer, between meals.
