Ice does not taste like bacon unless the water was mixed with bacon fat and/or flavour before it was frozen. Ice, like water should be tasteless if it has not already been contaminated by other chemicals.
An easy experiment to prove this for yourself at home is to take yoghurt cups and fill one with just water and another with any other flavour that you want (honey, syrup etc.). Then stick a piece of wood or plastic in it and freeze it. Once frozen take it out and taste. Very easy and cheap way to make 'ice cream'. Also works with the yoghurt itself by the way ;-).
