Societies and subsections of those societies create novel jargon devices. This is done, not only for intra-communication but, as an identifying trait of those societies.

These verbal labels may have positive or negative attributes which may seem arbitrary to someone external to the group.

Often ordinary words are corrupted within the group and may mean something entirely different to the definition usually accepted.

"Doughnut" is one such word within the sub-society you mention. You doughnut.
