A hen only lays an egg with a chick inside if the egg has been fertilized by a rooster, otherwise it lays eggs without chicks.
roosters fertilize the eggs but they dont raise the chick
Eggs that are sold in the supermarket are not fertilized. If they were, you would see a partially formed chick inside.

a scared chick? i dont know?
Most recipies wont have eggs in them, all though if you wanted to add eggs i dont see why you couldn't. I dont think that the flavors would together very well. Eggs would be used in something like Fried Rice.
i think the eggs provide food for the baby chick inside.
