Pizza did not use to be popular in fact pizza isn't Italian. Its Greek once Italy heard about it they called the dough pizza . In the 1800s the queen of Italy's queen loved this bread so much that she requested from her chef to make pizza for her. The man decided to make her a special pizza with cheese, tomato sause, garlic, and other herbs . The queen loved it so much the Italians thought the food must be good if the queen loves it so much. It was well known in Italy but not so much in America. Spain England, and France. The soldiers of World War II tried pizza and fell in love with it and that's how it became popular.

People should eat pizza because it is SO yummy- it has warm, melted cheese and tomato sauce and is great with either thin OR thick crust. Yum yum!
