If you are losing water in your tank, it is probably because of evaporation. No matter if you have a fish bowl or a fish tank, if it's in direct sunlight, the water's gonna evaporate. Another way you could be losing water is something called "fish intake". Most fish absorb water through their skin, and they replace it with their... bodily fluids. And most of what the fluids are is carbon dioxide and other things that take the place of water. Now there's more air in there and less water. Hope you find this useful!
P.S.-- If you find that the water is lower because of fish intake, add a bit of water IMMEDIATELY!!! The lack of water means lack of oxygen. Your fish could suffocate!
P.P.S-- On that cheerful note, good-bye!
Salt Water Fish
Assuming the dirty fish tank has had fish and water in it, without doing various specialised water tests it is impossible to tell what is in it.
It might be unsafe to drink because fish food, fish scales, fish waste, and many different kinds of bacteria are in fish tank water.
To change the water in a fish tank effectively, follow these steps: Use a siphon to remove about 25-30 of the water from the tank. Use a water conditioner to treat the new water before adding it to the tank. Gently pour the treated water back into the tank to avoid stressing the fish. Repeat this process regularly to maintain a clean and healthy environment for your fish.

The fish may be missing from the tank due to factors such as illness, water quality issues, predators, or the fish jumping out of the tank.

To do a full water change in a fish tank, first, unplug any electrical equipment. Remove the fish and place them in a separate container with some of the old tank water. Drain all the water from the tank. Clean the tank and decorations with warm water, avoiding soap or chemicals. Refill the tank with dechlorinated water at the same temperature as the old water. Acclimate the fish back to the tank by gradually adding some of the new water to their container before releasing them. Plug in the equipment and monitor the water parameters to ensure the fish's health.
