Not everyone sacrifices for amman prayers, I myself don't even though my mother inlaw used to sacrifice. It all depends on ur belief, doing clean porridge prayer is very rare and u only do the morning prayer and kanji can be made the very Same day. Those that sacrifice. Do so because they are following their ancestors, back then they never questioned why they needed to do this or that, today in our generation we need to know why so we can have a better understanding of what we are doing. My advice to u is, do wat u feel is right, don't do wat others are doing because many people doing something dnt make it the right way its about how happy u are doing ur prayer that makes it right. Dnt be discouraged, u knw religion is not meant to be understood, its supposed to be felt, science is meant to be understood. Religion just needs ur heart and faith. May the Mother guide u always. Aum Sathi Para Sathie!
