She is broody. This is when a hen instinctively needs to collect and hatch a brood of chicks. If you don't wish her to brood eggs simply keep taking the eggs away and she will eventually leave the nest.
well because of the cold the chicken or rooster likes to take the egg out so when it hatches the chicken wont be so cold
only if their fertilized if their not it wont happen
They lay eggs just the same, but they wont hatch.
it means that it probably has too many eggs. it wont hatch or bacause it doesnt like that egg
They lay eggs daily, but if you want chicks you have to have a male to fertilize the eggs.
it depends if they got cold, if they got cold they wont hatch, they will be dead
There could be several reasons your chicken isn't sitting on her eggs. She may not be broody, which means she isn't in the instinctual state to incubate eggs; some breeds are less prone to this behavior. Additionally, environmental factors like stress, temperature, or insufficient nesting space can deter her from sitting. Lastly, if the eggs are not fertilized, she may not feel the need to brood them.
yep they lay eggs w/o roosters. they just wont ever hatch. that's the kind of eggs u buy @ the store.
So predators wont eat the eggs.
pray he wont die
Its because once they know whats inside the eggs (which may be from an egg that squashed or fell out of the nest) they usually wont stop. Inside the egg is good nutrition for them. Even the shell and they know it.
first would be the chicken then the bird feed next the fox as simple as that so then the fox wont eat the chicken first and they wont be alone
