probably not, they dont like the cold much

An avocado tree can survive occasional light snowfall, especially if it is a large, well-developed plant and the snow does not lay on the ground. However, the avocado is a tropical tree, and doesn't like the cold. It is prone to frostbite. I imagine that avocado trees planted in areas that receive heavy snow, or snow that lays on the ground for days at a time, would do very poorly and probably not survive.
