Yes, I had a couple of chickens who would run around the garden. I have four dogs, two labs, a king charles spaniel and a chihuahua.
The labs and spaniel were fine and looked out for the chickens, the spaniel even went into the coop and collected eggs for us. However, the chihuahua- a puppy at the time was out in the garden and was chased by the chickens. She was pecked and was so scared she urinated and pooed herself. Since then she hasn't gone near them and was very shaken up after what happened. I don't know why, but she was very small I don't know if it was a dominance thing.
