Ham off the bone would be an example of whole meat, where no, or very limiting process occurs. Boneless meats under go a process of removing the bones and "gluing" the meat back together in order to be packages and sliced.

Once thawed it's a good idea to use it within 3 days. Haas avocados can be frozen if they are cut up while they are still not quite ripe. When they are thawed, preferably in small batches, they will still be chunky (albeit soft) enough for recipes that call for partially mashed fruits. Also, the thawed, raw chunks are perfect for babies who are just learning to self-feed whole meals. However, while in the freezer, the chunks will turn brown if not treated with lemon juice. This causes no change in the taste or nutritional value.
