In the meantime after you make the vet appointment, try giving your hamster some water by a dropper because they could be dehydrated. UTI is very painful to hamsters so don't handle it often and keep it comfortable. Make sure the room tempature is comfortable for the hamster. And make sure it has fresh food and water. The hamster may be a little sluggish and not move around much but that is only because it is tired and in pain.
