Our easy crock pot spaghetti sauce takes much of the work out of this classic red sauce and popular accompaniment to pasta. Just add the sautéed meat and other ingredients, and let the crockpot do the rest. You'll love the bright flavors of this simple but classic sauce and use it often. It's great with lasagna, spaghetti and shells and also adds something extra to casseroles and even meatloaf. This sauce can be frozen for use over the winter months, too. Just place it in a zip lock freezer bag and store it flat. You can stack bags for a season's worth of homemade sauce. On pasta day, defrost a batch in your microwave.
