Not likely. Mythbusters did an episode and while someone can certainly be cut or injured, they determined that the chances of cutting someone bad enough to cause death is impossible.

Yes, many boxers have died after a boxing match. The aim of many Martial Arts is a single punch to end the fight. Many punches can result in internal injuries that can result in death.
