Gambling is illegal in basicallly all parts of California except for Pechunga Resort in Temecula. If you are living in California, you would get either fined or arrested. This is not true in all areas. Gambling only gets you arrested if you are under 21, or in Las Vegas, gambling won't always get you arrested.
Al Capone was arrested in Cuba on January 27, 1928, during a raid at the Hotel Nacional in Havana. The arrest was part of a crackdown on illegal gambling and organized crime. However, Capone was not charged with any crimes during this incident and was released shortly thereafter. His time in Cuba was marked by his attempts to expand his criminal empire, particularly in the gambling business.
