I cant give a promised answer but i think its cos all transformers were originally decepticons, cos all the Primes were, and the Autobots were created as warriors on Cybertron, but then the Decepticons went bad and the Autobots obviously stood up to them, so as soon as the cube makes them, it makes them the same way they were all created.
