Lemony Snicket wrote the series "A Series of Unfortunate Events". The series is about three children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. Violet is a fourteen years old but turns out to be sixteen and the end of the series, is an amazing inventor and she usually has her hair up in a ribbon to help think about new inventions to make. Her inventions were so useful, one even save the Baudelaire's lives. Klaus is a twelve year old but in the end was fourteen that loved books. He read so many that he was like a walking library. His mind was very useful as well as Violets inventions. He was almost always in the Baudelaire library with his nose in a book and a whole other pile of books next to him. Sunny Baudelaire was the youngest of the children. Only 1 1/2. At the beginning she was only an infant but as you go on in the series, she grows and turns into a young girl. Sunny had six very sharp teeth that were very useful throughout the series as well as Klaus's mind and Violet's inventions. One day the Baudelaires were enjoying at the beach, Violet was skipping rocks, Klaus was examining creatures in tidepools, and Sunny was probably gnawing on a piece of wood or pebble. They saw Mr. Poe, a friend of their parents and he said that the the Baudelaire house had burst in flames and there parents have died. Their guardian after the fire was a villainous man named Count Olaf. Count Olaf was always planning on getting the Baudelaire fortune that their parents have left behind. But the Baudelaires went on to other guardians but Count Olaf was right behind them. He killed most of them but the Baudelaires always escaped from his clutches. At the end of the series Count Olaf finally dies.
The entire series is amazing, but, if I had to choose one, I would say " The slippery slope"
