OJ Simpson is doing time for robbery and possible other charges. It stems back to his civil trial where he was found responsible for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was ordered to pay millions of dollars in damages and restitution to the Browns and Goldmans. So he was gathering his assets to hide them in an attempt to evade paying the court order. He was in the process of removing OJ artifacts at gun point and got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, so to speak. Interesting fact:After his aquittal Simpson was in and out of trouble until his arrest and imprisonment. His daughter once called police because he was hitting her. Some things never change.

Can OJ Simpson be re-tried for their murder if he admitted it today?

Under the 'double jeopardy' law Simpson can't be tried again for these murders even if he wrote a book explaining how he did it. Which he did. This law limits the power of overzealous prosecutors and is an important part of our judicial system. But the system is not perfect and there are situations like Simpson's that seem to defy logic. Unfortunately, sometimes individuals can get away with murder.
