Sadly no. lassie the dog has been long gone, almost 50 years now. You wonder why there's still films of lassie? because they use daughters and sons of poor old lassie, and so on. :'( i love lassie she was a great dog. She Passed away a long time ago, Im sorry..... =(
Assuming you mean the dog from the movies ... no. That dog (actual name "Pal") died in 1958, so all of his "children" would have died sometime in the 1970s or, at the latest, in the early 1980s.
The dogs that were featured in that role in the CBS TV show were all descendants of the original "Lassie" from the movies (and the first couple of episodes of the TV show). His son Lassie Jr. played the role for several years before being succeeded by his own sons, first Spook, then Baby. The last two Lassies used in the series, Mire and Hey Hey, were also descendants of Pal.
The dog that currently plays Lassie is also named Pal, and is a tenth generation direct descendant of the original Pal.
No. Lassie's offspring, Lassie Junior, Spook, Baby, Mire & Hey Hey have all passed away.
Yes, matter of fact Jean Kennedy is still living. She is the last one living, out of John Fitzgerald Kennedy's siblings.
I think she did not DIE because she graduated in 1999. Even though she does not do any more concerts she is still living her life with probably a great family maybe?
