Yes, it will be checked by security before you enter the park.
But just because you CAN bring a backpack doesn't mean you SHOULD. Not every ride has a place to secure a bag, and a day at a theme park involves a lot of walking and standing. Just like any theme park, the less you carry around with you, the better. But anyway, of course you can. Just try to leave your backpack at a hotel!

Speaking as a person whos been to Disney World 20+ times i can say i have rarely ever had to take off a backpack, though i might have had to put it around my leg or something. for complete info on rides go to www.wdwmagic.com, if they dont have what you need in the ride descriptions, post a question on the forum. its a really nice site and you should get and answer in a day or two on there! if you do register on wdwmagic put CajunSpencer as your referer! ∙ 13y agoYes. Bags, food, and water are allowed in the Disney theme parks. Be aware that all bags are checked before you enter the park.
The only containers that are not allowed are hard sided coolers.
