Demigods were called by the ancient populations those persons for whom existed the perception that they came from one mortal parent and one immortal. Usually demigods were named the most popular heroes, those that were distinguished for their achievements and were considered equal to gods.

Each nation had such personalities that their influence, the estimate and the admiration that nourished for them, reached the degree of deification.

The ancient Greeks had a lot of demigods that honored the same as the gods. In their honor they were building temples, they were organizing ceremonies and athletic fights, they were offering sacrifices, they honored them as protectors of their cities, and they dedicated statues.

They are as real as the ancient gods.

Best known demigods were: Hercules, Theseus, Achilles, Aeneas, a.o.

In modern times, the term 'demigod' has gained popularity with the 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' series written by Rick Riordan. In this series, many of the main characters are demigods, and go to a special camp called 'Camp Half-Blood'.

If you believe in it than its real if you don't than that's your own opinion but in my opinion I think they might be real.
