Yes they are. I used one from the eighties in 2004 and they accept them without any hassle.
There May Be Some RestrictionsTickets from the 70s may be honored, but they may be restricted to the one park that was open at that time. In other words, you might be able to only get into the Magic Kingdom. (Epcot opened in 1982, MGM Studios in 1992, and Animal Kingdom in 1998.) You will probably need to upgrade your ticket to enter the other parks. If so, you will get a credit for the value of the ticket you have and be charged the difference. Based on my understanding of how it works, you will have to go to a ticket window to complete the transaction because the Disney folks won't answer specific questions about unused tickets over the phone.Happy day, Anne
***I would notuse tickets from the 70's. They are still valid but you will get more for them on eBay than the $74 park admission. You might also contact Disney historical society, often time the will buy antique tickets. I had a guest who came into 'One Mans Dream' with some 1974 tickets asking about them and we referenced him to the historical society. I exchange for the tickets, the sent him and his family annual passes.
