He was at the auditions for Edward in Twilight. he was just lazying around LA for a year or so, when he was told to get his act together. so he auditioned for a couple of films, thinking he'd never get the part and then one day he got choosen to play edward. he wasnt really bothered at first because to be honest he was just wanting to lazy around. and now hes a big star and i personally love him and his mental lazyness.

My 11 year old son just auditioned for Seussical and he got the lead role The Cat. They kids were asked to sing anything and my son chose Bruno Mars Lighter song the chorus only (This one is for you and me, Luving out our dreams etc etc) No rapping, just that chorus verse. The chorus is kinda high but he hit the notes right. He loves all Bruno Mars songs because of his high tenor voice. Bottom line is encourage your child to sing whatever inspires him/her and just belt it out. Good luck!
For both times that Cher Lloyd auditioned for The X Factor, she auditioned in Birmingham because her home-town is Malvern, which is just outside Birmingham.
