Yes. His 'unaffected by spell cards' effect is continuous and only applied while he is face-up on the field. So while he is in hand, he can be affected by cards such as Exchange, and Flute of Summoning Dragon.

What are your chances of pulling a Horus the black flame dragon level 8 or 6?

That depends on the cards you have to back up your horus the black flame level 4. I have all of them and I either keep it protected for the turn with a card such as threatening roar or waboku or I just sacrifice monsters to summon them.

Can horus the black flame dragon be used with the egyptian god cards?

That is all depending on how you want to run it. in cases, you can place Horus the Black Flame Dragon of all Levels in there, while also running the currently released Tournament legal Egyptian Gods. But trying to find ways to Summon them easily as hoping they won't be dead draws. Not sure what you are asking, but I hope this answers your question. You can run them in Gadget Obelisk hoping this will help.

Is this a good Yu-Gi-Oh dragon deck?

The answer is a matter of opinion, but here are a list of pros and cons both types have. The following takes into account the possibilities monsters of each type existing in decks centered on them and decks that don't.Pros of Warriors:numerous support cards with a variety of functionsnumerous Warrior-type monsters of different archetypes (The Six Samurai, Elemental Heroes, Destiny Heroes, "Warrior" Synchro Monsters, etc.)Some are synergistic in other strategies ("D-Hero Disk Commander", "Rose, Warrior of Revenge", "E-Hero Stratos", "Colossal Fighter", etc.)Vary from high ATK to low ATKHigh capability of inclusion in decks not centered on the Warrior typeCons of Warriors:Cards specifically regarding the Warrior type are not used very often (with the exception of "Reinforcement of the Army")Not necessarily a "con", but there are few decks that center on the Warrior type; just decks that feature powerful monsters that just happen to be WarriorPros of Dragons:Plenty of support cards with a variety of functionsTypically have high ATKFusions can be easily achieved thanks to "Dragon's Mirror" and "Future Fusion"Feature notable Dragons ("Blue-Eyes", "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8", "Five-Headed Dragon"/"F.G.D.", etc.)"Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" is a great card for swarming the field with powerful DragonsSome of the best Synchro Monsters are Dragon-type ("Stardust Dragon", "Black Rose Dragon", "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", etc.)"Debris Dragon" works very well in decks that feature low ATK monsters (even some Monarch decks)Cons of Dragons:Most of the time, the only way to win with a Dragon deck is to swarm and overpower your opponent while being mindful of their Spells and Traps. A Dragon deck forced to play defensively in a duel can end up performing poorly. (Not to say Warrior decks can't suffer the same problem, but there a multitude of different focuses a Warrior-type deck can possess. Some of those varieties might handle certain situations better.)Aside notable cards like "Debris Dragon" and "Stardust Dragon", most Dragons do not fit in decks not centered on Dragons. The "Dragunity" cards are a slight except to this.

I would say that if you want to buy two yugioh structure decks and combine them to amke one strong one i would would do similar styles such as dragons roar with rise of the dragon lords with some other cards thrown in such as lord of d flute of summoning dragons and some other magic and trap. The bad thing is in these two structure decks you get Horus lvl6 armed dragon lvl3, armed dragon lvl 6. You wont get cards such as lvl 4 or 8 horus or even armed dragon 7 or 10. if i made a deck i would make a dragon deck i would put... Horus the Black Flame Dragon deck?

A typical Horus the Black Flame Dragon Deck generally revolves around the "Horus Lockdown" strategy. This strategy requires the cards Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, Jinzo, and Royal Decree. The Player first focuses on bringing out Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, then proceeds to Summon Jinzo or activate Royal Decree. This combination effectively shuts down, or "locks", all of the opponent's non-monster cards and strategies. This is rated as a Tier 2 Deck-type.For more ideas and a Decklist involving the "Horus Lockdown", click on the "Related Link" below.

What is the best way to summon Horus LV8?

The best way is to use level up! If you previously summoned Horus LV8 properly, and he is then destroyed, then there's a quicker way to bring him back, you can use Level Modulation.

Which is better for a dragon deck Horus the Black Flames or Armed Dragons and why?

It's more of a matter of opinion on which set of Dragons is better, so here is a list of their pros and cons: Armed Dragons (AD) Pros * "AD LV3" can be searched via "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Masked Dragon" and "Flying Kamakiri #1". * "AD LV3" only needs to be on your field during your Standby Phase to level it up. Reborning it from the Graveyard or any other method of safely summoning during your Standby phase is a safe way to level up. * "AD LV5" only needs to destroy a monster to level up (a simple task) and can be Tribute Summoned or Special Summoned outside a level up if needed. * "AD LV7"'s effect destroys multiple face-up monsters. * ADs can be used in a Wind-Beatdown deck using "Harpie Lady #1" and other Wind support cards. Cons * "AD LV5 and 7" require you to discard specifically monster cards. * Using LV10 is really impractical since it only has 200 more ATK than LV8, effect is generally the same and is a "dead card" in your hand until you get out LV8. * NONE of the ADs can destroy face-down monsters with their effects. Horus the Black Fame DragonPros * "Horus LV4" cannot be taken by your opponent while it is on the field and has decent enough attack to destroy a monster in battle to level up. * LV6 only needs to destroy a monster to level up (a simple task) and can be Tribute Summoned or Special Summoned outside a level up if needed. * LV6 also is unaffected by Spells (like "Swords of Revealing Light", "Molten Destruction", "Shrink", "Enemy Controller", Equip Spell cards, etc.) * LV8 can negate any Spell that is activated leaving you with a 3000 ATK monster that can only be taken down in battle (not likely) or by Traps. * Horus can be used in a Negation deck to negate Spells while Jinzo/ Royal Decree negates Traps leaving an opponent with only monster effects to use. * LV8 can be discarded for "Trade-In" if needed. Cons * LV6 is unaffected by practically all of your Spells that could benefit it. ("Level Up!" will still work to bring out LV8 because LV6 is sent to the Graveyard as a cost to activate the card; just an fyi.) * LV8 only negates Spells that are activated. Spells that are already on the field like Continuous Spells will still work like LV8 was never on the field. * LV8 is the essential monster to get out; the previous LVs don't have as damaging or game-winning of an effect. * None of the Horus LVs are searchable by conventional means except LV4 with "Witch of the Black Forest". You're going to need a bit more luck and skill going through your deck to get Horus out. Overall, Armed Dragons are easier to obtain, have some good monster destruction effects and have some nice ATK stats. But to be honest, their monster-destruction effects have been duplicated into better and easier to use cards since they were printed ("Lightning Vortex" and more). Plus they need protection with Spells and Traps; a single "Smashing Ground" or "Sakuretsu Armor" will finish them off and you'd have to start over again. At least the ADs do work in a Wind/ Dragon deck or can work with a plain Dragon deck and use "Masked Dragon" to search out LV3 and other Dragons. The ADs can discard monsters to fuel a "Dragon's Mirror" summoning of "Five-Headed Dragon". Horus is a harder to get card set, but is more worth it. They have more ATK, can protect themselves to some extent (LV8 even more so) and have been used Negation decks. However, they don't really blend with in as well with Dragon decks because they can't depend on or utilize other Dragon cards as well as the ADs. And none of the LVs can be searched through your deck easily, so some cards should be committed to draw through your deck or any other means of slimming it down. It is possible to ditch having LV4 in your deck and just try to Tribute Summon LV6. It's up to you to decide which Dragon is better: Armed Dragon are good and easier to use in Dragon decks and Horus is more of a stand-alone card, but can used in Dragon decks if wanted.
