∙ 13y agoAny kind of 'bending' as seen in the movie Avatar is not real. It is created by the special effects department. It cannot be achieved in any way in the real world.
Sites claiming to be able to teach any such thing are a fraud.

Maybe it could be true. Maybe some people have the mind power to really "bend" water, earth, fire, and air.

Waterbending-Tai Chi
Earthbending-Hung Gar
Firebending-Northern Shaolin
Airbending-Ba Gua
The closest you can get to bending is learning the type of Kung-Fu that goes with the element. Earthbending is based from strong rooted stances. And it takes years to master.

Why can't Sokka bend?

Good god, how many times am I going to see this question? No! There is no season four! Book 1: Water---- Aang learns how to water-bend from Katara. Book 2: Earth---- Aang learns to Earth-bend from Toph. Book 3: Fire---Aang learns to Fire-bend from Prince Zuko. There is no point in a Book 4 seeing as he already knows how to Air-bend!
