Intro Vampires vs. Wizards. Wands vs. Super Powers. Have you tapped into this? Yes, it is the battle of the series…Twilight vs. Harry Potter. I'm here to convince you that Twilight is not only better than dope wizard Harry Potter, but also great books to read! After this, you will never look at an apple the same way again! Point #1 So let's begin with the authors of the two series. J.K.Rowling made you feel the action as you waited for Voldemort's return but Stephenie Meyer put you INSIDE the book so you ARE the character. On a web forum, a 21 year old under the name 'Harry Potter fan' said she'd read all of the Harry Potter books and loved them but she was disappointed as Rowling left out the character's personal and love lives. There wasn't much detail on Harry's EXACT feelings for others. While reading Twilight, she would cringe, cry, get nervous, or get ticked off. Meyer can obviously connect with her readers more than Rowling! Point #2 Now we'll move on. In America's Insider magazine, a poll asked: "Which upcoming movie are you excited about?" New Moon received 75% of the votes and Harry Potter came out with a measly 25%. In addition, the Annual Vision Awards, a fundraising event that honours entertainment professionals that have shown great talent, has selected Twilight for their "Film of Vision." One of the many awards the books have won is 'Book for Reluctant Readers.' Imagine that, the Saga has the power to make the most reluctant of readers to fall in love with books! One of my friends who hated reading read the ENTIRE saga in a week and even begged me to go to the library with her! What's more, Entertainment Weekly made this statement: "When Eclipse came out it shook hands with Harry Potter before sweetly knocking him off his perch at number one." This proves that Twilight is better than Harry Potter by far! Point #3 Some still think that Rowling has a more colourful imagination than Meyer but she is actually a perfect example of imagination going too far. Twilight looks at werewolves and vampires from a whole new perspective, minus the full moons and bat transformations! Rowling however, had the imaginary world that in some ways, resemble a 6 year olds, what with Hinkypunks, Kneazles, Nifflers, and Three-Headed-Dogs? Originality at its best? I don't think so! Meyer not only has a logical imagination that she tames but has a gift of originality that Rowling does not possess. Conclusion So now you know exactly why every single one of you will become a Twihard! The Twilight Saga is the best series of books written for Young Adults, winning numerous awards, and changing numerous lives for the better and it will go on to do so. So let Twilight change your life for the better, so Jasper Hale can be your imaginary friend too!
