Neither Ra nor Obelisk can have their summons negated, nor can their summons be responded to (apart from by Ra's optional trigger) so that means cards like Bottomless Trap Hole can't be used against them.
Obelisk cannot be targeted. So you cannot use Sakuretsu Armor, Raigeki Break against him, nor can you Equip him. However Ra does not have those protections, those all work on him.
Both of them can be destroyed by spells or traps that do not target. So Smashing Ground, Dark Hole will destroy them. Torrential Tribute cannot be used against their own summoning, but can destroy them if it is used against the summon of another monster.
