No houndour is catchable in emerald and Pokemon colosseum you must get one from either one you can battle a houndour in the rocket warehouse a girl rocket grunt has two but that's the only way you can see it other than that trade one from the following games to firered that i mentioned.

∙ 13y agoYes, you can. Go to Route 7 at night, and walk in the grass until you find a Houndour. It will be levels 15-18. If you don't find one, don't be discouraged; they're very rare. Catch a Houndour quickly, because it will use Roar to flee, and raise it to level 24. It will evolve into Houndoom.
