The R4 has Action Replay built-in with the firmware, so there's no point putting an R4 into the Action Replay.

It's impossible to use a PokeSav without an R4, M3, or some sort of memory card. R4 provides a slot with a memory chip that you can plug into your USB slot in your PC or Laptop. Action Replay doe's not provide a slot for a chip. But R4 is illegal, and should clearly not be used.

You can not use R4 with AR. For AR codes with R4/TTDS, you need to find the cheat code editor on the R4 main website. Then follow the instructions there.
