to keep yourself 100% safe use public domain names and nothing that resembles the actual character i.e
if i wanted to make a Cinderella (public domain named character) party kit i could by using roses,a random castle, glass shoes,mice,the color blue ect.this would be totally okay to sell if any of it had Disney's version of any image related to their Cinderella though you'd be in violation. thing of everything you do as completely custom or generic/off brand go to a dollar tree and to get a rough idea.i.e selling chips like hot cheetos but yours are hot crisp the shape is different but its still that spicy red chili looking thing hat packaging can be similar (instead of a cat do a bear and flames around it eating the chip or something) this is safe for you to sell.i hope this helps sorry this is so long.
