A Fusion Summon is considered a special summon, so anything that can respond to a special summon (such as Bottomless Trap Hole) can be used against it.

Can you activate torrential tribute or bottomless trap hole when you attack a face down monster with high defense?

Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole can only be used in response to a monster's summon. Attacking a monster does not summon it (note that if the monster is face down, this is a Flip and not a Flip Summon).

If I synchro summon a monster can my opponent activate Trap Hole on it?

Synchro summoned is considered a special summon so Trap Hole won't have an effect on them. But try Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute instead.

In Yu-Gi-Oh can 'Stardust Dragon' negate 'Bottomless Trap Hole'?

Bottomless Trap Hole destroys the summoned monster as well as removing it, meaning that Stardust Dragon can tribute itself to chain its negating Quick Effect to BTH's activation. This negation effect will resolve, negating and destroying Bottomless Trap Hole. Then in the end phase, Stardust Dragon will summon itself to the field.

Can your opponent activate Bottomless Trap Hole in response to your activation of Super Polymerization?

Super Polymerization only prevents spells, traps or monster effects from being used against its activation. It therefore protects against Counter Traps mainly, but it does nothing to protect the monster it summons on resolution.Bottomless Trap Hole responds to a special summon, it does not chain to an activation that will special summon on resolution, it waits for the summon to be completed successfully, and is used afterwards.Bottomless Trap Hole therefore is not restricted by Super Polymerization, and the sequence of events will look like this.Player A - Activates Super Polymerization.Player B - No response.Super Polymerization resolves. Both players can respond to the summon.Player A - No response.Player B - Starts a chain with Bottomless Trap Hole.Player A - No response.Bottomless Trap Hole will destroy the summoned monster and remove it from play.

Does trap hole work on fusions?

A Fusion Summon, or the Summoning of any Monster (Synchro or Fusion) from the Fusion Deck (Extra Deck) is a special summon and so Trap Hole will not work on it.

Does bottomless trap hole work on obelisk the effect monster?

Normal summon, no. Special summon, yes.The reason is, when Obelisk is normal summoned, no spells, traps or monster effects can be activated. That means it prevents anything being activated in the 'summon response' window, which is where you'd normally use cards like Trap Hole, Bottomless Trap Hole, Torrential Tribute, etc.

Can you activate Torrential Tribute when a player sets a monster in Yu-Gi-Oh?

If a monster is set you cannot activate it. "Torrential Tribute" can only activate when any player performs a flip summon, normal summon, Ritual summon, Fusion summon or Special summon, but a set is different from a summon so you cannot activate "Torrential Tribute". The same applies to other cards that activate when a monster is summoned (like "Bottomless Trap Hole" and "Solemn Judgment").

Can 'Bottomless Trap Hole' stop a Synchro Summon?

Bottomless Trap Hole can be used against a Synchro Summoned monster with appropriate attack, but it's not accurate to say it 'stops' the summon. In game terms, the summon is completed successfully, and cards like Bottomless Trap Hole will be used in response to that successful summon. It means though that Synchro Monsters like Brionac may have already used their effects due to player Priority - if you want to avoid even that happening, you need to negate the summon instead, with a summon negation card.

Can you bottomless trap hole stardust dragon assault mode after its affect brings it back from the grave?

Yes, you can, it is a special summon and can be responded to as normal. However it is more than likely that the monster's controller will simply tribute it to negate and destroy Bottomless Trap Hole, then resummon the dragon in the same end phase.

Can Stardust Dragon negate a Bottomless Trap Hole targeting it in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Bottomless Trap Hole does not target due to the way it can remove multiple monsters. If Bottomless Trap Hole is activated, then Stardust Dragon can be used against it, even if Bottomless Trap Hole was activated in response to Stardust Dragon's own summon.

Can you remove the dragon from play the turn you summon it for red eyes darkness metal dragon?

Is Ritual Summoning considered Special Summoning?

A Ritual Summon is a kind of Special Summon. Anything that affects a Special Summon (such as "Bottomless Trap Hole", "Royal Oppression", etc.) will affect a Ritual Summon.

Can 'Bottomless Trap Hole' remove from play 'Stardust Dragon'?

Yes, it can. However Bottomless Trap Hole is a card that destroys, so Stardust Dragon can be used to negate it, even if it was used in response to Stardust Dragon's own summon. The Bottomless Trap Hole will be negated and destroyed in that case.

Does bottomless trap hole negate effects?

No. No part of Bottomless Trap Hole negates effects. However a monster's continuous effect requires it to remain face-up on the field. In those cases, the monster effect will cease to apply as the monster is gone.
