No, he does not have Priority for an activation - nor is there any need to 'declare' the summon as such.
Imagine Player A begins his main phase. He has Priority for a summon, so tributes a monster and places Jinzo on the field. The summon is not yet successful, but the only things that can be used here are summon-negating cards.
Assuming no one negates the summon, Jinzo is summoned successfully. The Turn Player still has Priority for an Ignition Effect or a quick effect, or he can just pass Priority to the opponent. Under normal circumstances, this is now the first chance the opponent would get to use his Threatening Roar. But Jinzo's effect will prevent it.
So in short, if the turn player is in a position to initiate a summon, and decides to do so, it is mostly uninterruptable until after the summon is successful, so in this case, by the time the opponent knows you want to summon Jinzo, it is too late to activate a trap like Threatening Roar.

Synchro summoned is considered a special summon so Trap Hole won't have an effect on them. But try Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute instead.

That'd be a misplay - you need to keep in mind player Priority. When Stratos' summon is successful, the turn player still has Priority. He can use this for an Ignition Effect, or Quick Effect, or just pass Priority for the opponent to respond. Also, anything that triggers from the summon will activate first. So when Stratos is successfully summoned, the turn player has to pass Priority in one way or another before the opponent can do anything. In this case, he chooses to activate Stratos' optional trigger. The opponent will then chain Trap Hole to this. Even though Trap Hole resolves and destroys Stratos first, his effect is still on the chain and will resolve as normal.
Can you normal summon when you activate soul exchange?
Yes, no part of Soul Exchange stops you performing summons that turn. You could activate Soul Exchange against one monster, then perform your normal summon for the turn, tributing that monster for a Lv5-6 one. Or you could do a regular normal summon and tribute that monster for something else. It's up to you.

"Torrential Tribute" can only activate when any player performs a flip summon, normal summon, Ritual summon, Fusion summon or Special summon, but a set is different from a summon so you cannot activate "Torrential Tribute". The same applies to other cards that activate when a monster is summoned (like "Bottomless Trap Hole" and "Solemn Judgment").

Yes. Since you can't special summon, you can't even begin to initiate any kind of special summon. That means assuming a special summon card has a cost of tributing/banishing one monster, you could not use Kristya as that cost. Even if the summon does not use the chain, it is still not possible to tribute/banish Kristya. So the opponent could not tribute your Kristya for his Lava Golem.
