Yes, you will be able to customize your character in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. You can choose their skin, hair and eye colors, their hairstyle and their clothes and accessories in general (Hat, Top, Bottom, Outfit, Socks, Shoes, Bag and Accessories like Sunglasses or Pins). You can even add facial hair to your male character or make-up if you have chosen the female instead!
