If you are referring to the Philosoher's stone, it was never really stated. Dumbledore made it so that anyone who wanted to find the stone, but not use it, would be the only ones able to attain it.

∙ 8y agoHe does not use the stone and had no intention to use it. That is why it was presented to him from the mirror. It could only be given to one who had no intent to actually use it.

∙ 9y agoNo. Harry managed to keep the Philosopher's Stone away from Quirrell and Voldemort. Dumbledore then took the Stone and agreed with his friend, owned it, that it should be destroyed.
