For example, the rudimentary body potion that gave him a physical form before he regained his own body, he invented numerous spells a lot of which i can name but i do not feel the need to type all of it, he invented the ability to fly unaided by a broom or creature, he invented the drink of despair that dumbledore was forced to take in the horcrux cave, he invented the taboo curse on his name, the dark mark curse that allowed him to summon and communicate with death eaters, as well as a protective barrier that only death eaters and himself can pass through. I am sure there is much more that we are unaware of, but the man is a genius.
