Are you talking about Brando the real person or the character he played (Major Lloyd Gruver) in that film?
His co-star in that film was Miiko Taka, who played Hana-Ogi -- the two actors were never married.
MAJOR SPOILERS FOLLOW!
According to TCMdb, at the end of the film, Hana-Ogi tells reporters
'that she and Gruver will be married, and hopes that someday people will understand and approve. American reporters, who have followed Gruver from the airport hoping for a story, ask Gruver if he has anything to say to military officials. After thinking a moment, Gruver says, "sayonara." '
To me, this means that a marriage will soon follow, but does not actually occur during the plot of this film. So take your pick.
No, she is not. She was, however, his love interest in several of his films. Active during 1957-1962, she left the movie business to marry a businessman.

Well...sayonara = good byeja ne, or just "ja" = see you later (a less formal goodbye, probably more suitable for a boyfriend)So that's out of the way. Now, boyfriend... "kareshi" or "kare" (pronounced "KAH - reh") is boyfriend, and "sukidoushi" works for boyfriend OR girlfriend, as well as general "soul mate". In other words,"Ja ne, kareshi." = See you later, boyfriend."Ja, kare." = See you later, boyfriend."Sayonara, sukidoushi." = Goodbye, soul mate.Any combination could work. However, I assume most girlfriends would simply refer to their boyfriend by their name and a familiar honorific, such as "-kun".(Note: I'm not certain on this, but "kareshi-kun" or "kare-kun" might be a fine way to say boyfriend as well, while being more familiar. But don't quote me on that.)
