According to a recent interview about the Master card commercial, where he did some of his owns stunts, RDA stated he did all his own stunts in MacGyver that was why he didn't do stunts now. Another interview he stated he always left the MacGyver set broken or bleeding from his stunt work. He also stated at first he had a hard time convincing the producers of MacGyver to let him to stunt work, But they did allow him to and got close ups of him in action. He did some stunt work in Stargate. He had bad knees and was worth too much money on his feet to let him get hurt and hold up production. He said he had to rethink doing stunts and his immortality after his daughter Wylie came along. RDA is an Adrenalin junkie, loves speed, action and the thrill of putting himself at risk. He races motorcycles, cars, down hill ski racing and has skated with professional Hockey teams
