Yes. I used to work for Goody's before they closed and I have been keeping up with news regarding Goody's and the rumors of re-opening. Goody's has already re-opened some locations. Goody's was purchased by Stage Stores ( Peebles is a sister store to this co.) Sadly, they have completely changed Goody's and from what I understand it is more like a Peebles, Bealls, or Palais Royale than the Goody's we knew. They also purchased Goody's house brands with the exception of Duckhead (sold to a VA co.) and Ashley Judd. There are 3 locations in TN (Dayton, Kimball, and Rodgersville) as well as others throughout the south east. You can go to www.goodysonline.com to find other store locations and learn more about the new Goody's. I have hear they plan on opening 50 Goody's by February and I am sure they will expand more in the years to come.

It wasn't Abigail that accused them of witchcraft. It was Tituba. She accused Goody Goody and Goody Osburn of witchcraft because she's getting pressured of what they were asking her so she told them what they wanted to hear and Mrs. Putnam said that she was sure that someone was killing her babies so Tituba mentioned Goody Good and Goody Osburn because they became a midwife to Mrs. Putnam three times already.

Goody Putnam resents Goody Nurse primarily due to jealousy and rivalry. Additionally, Goody Nurse's reputation and influence in the community highlight Goody Putnam's own insecurities and frustrations, further deepening her resentment. This animosity is compounded by the broader social dynamics of Salem, where personal grievances often intertwine with larger conflicts.

Because Osburn was the midwife when three of Putnam's children died. Goody Osburn were midwife to me three times. I begged you, Thomas, did I not? I begged him not to call Osburn because I feared her. My babies always shriveled in her hands!
