This view is more practically beneficial to me.I've heard Ras means head and Tafari means creator and Haile Selassie possesses this title. Therefore, It is more clear to me not say he is literally the creator that genesis speak of but in a still sense he wield that power. This power that he wields make him Rastafari and those who follow the head creator they are Rasta/Rastafari.Further more, in the olden days in Jamaica where fine men were aware of Rasta, they were highly elated to find Rasta and so they gave him honor. However, us as Rasta in this time look at the philosophy in a new way, that is to say, much like the old testament and new testament saga.So, as we are in an older age we have a higher awakening and we have arrived at a more mature meaning of Rasta. We look at Rasta in this way:Who ever in society has a head and has an awareness of its creation they are man but whoever is just and living righteous, uses the creative energy for the good, wellbeing, concord and upliftment of himself and his fellow brothers, he shall enter into Rastafari.
