The Spanish Armada was a failure and as such did not cause any real change in England. Not one ship landed on the shores of Britain. For the Spanish it left them with a depleted navy. Some ships were wrecked along the coast of Ireland whilst the fleet tried to round the British Isles on the way back to Spain. Some of these Spaniards settled in Ireland and their decedents are known as the black Irish.
While the defeat of the Spanish Armada did not affect the Roanoke colonists, the preparations in England for the expected attack certainly did. Part of the preparations included a stay of shipping, meaning that no ships were allowed to leave England. Thus, relief ships carrying much needed supplies for the colony were not sent.
Nothing. They tried to explode the victory sending another Armada against Spain, but when they arrived at Gijon they found all the Galeons ready to fight, so they went to La Coruña, where they were defeated by the locals and the garrison. At least then conformed with sacking the Azores and returning to England.
The Spanish power in the sea weren't affected, most of the warships survived the disaster and returned Gijon.
If you mean the Spanish Armada, then Sir Francis Drake was the English leader and Medina Sidonia was the Spanish leader. Hope I helped! :)
Yes she did. Her English army technically won the Spanish Armada but they didn't really do much to them as it was the wind that defeated the Armada. The Armada had seen the English fire ships and had panicked and tried to flee but the wind had battered their ships and drowned most of the Spanish and any survivors that washed up in Scotland was killed.

Figures vary, but over 20,000 soldiers and sailors were killed
Defeated the Spanish Armada.
There was no impact. It was BEFORE the English began to have colonies in the 1600's.

10,000 English Soldiers Took on the spanish Armada!
The results of the battle of the Spanish Armada in 1588 might have increased enthusiasm for English colonization because of the dangers that still faced England (or, Great Britain) after the battle was won. Despite the defeat of the Spanish, there were continued hostilities, and the Spanish would continue to plan movements against the English homeland even to the point of inciting religious-based unrest. For some, escape to the New World could easily have seemed a desirable alternative to remaining in harm's way.
Lord Howard of Effingham and Sir Francis Drake were the English leaders against the Spanish armada.
The English did :P
no it did not
The Spanish Armada was when a huge navy of Spanish ships went over to England and got crushed: by mother nature mostly. It was devestating to the Spanish.
