Do Pokemon in mystery dungeon evolve?

It depends on which version(s) of the game you mean. If you mean Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue Rescue Team, you have to finish the storyline and you'll be able to evolve in the cave at Whishcash's Pond. To enter the cave, however, you can only have one member, the team leader, in your team.

If you mean Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, you have to complete the storyling up the point where (SPOILER ALERT) Manaphy returns to your team base for your Partner and Hero to evolve. You can evolve normal team members by (SPOILER ALERT) completing the Gradutation Exam and travelling to Luminous Spring.

! Now, unlike Pokemon Mystery Dungeon blue rescue team, you don't have to beat a certain boss. You have to beat certain BOSSES. Once you complete the storyline, several months later, the guild will ask you to take on a graduation exam. But be warned: When you go to the certain dungeon : Mystifying Forest, the grand master of all things bad and his minions will trap you a battle you! If you defeat them, you can go to a place where a light flashes, and your Pokemon can evolve if they're at a certain level and have enough IQ/Happiness or stones. Except for your hero and partner. Apparently time and space will prevent it from happening! But other recruits can still evolve! :) I hope I've helped you! Good luck~

You can evolve but you have to complete the game.

sooner or later someone will come saying that Snubull looks different.

You'll go there and you'll see Granbull instead of Snubull.

Alakazam explains that this is evolution and Granbull explains he went into a cave infront of where Whiscash usually is and he evolved.

You can now evolve you and your team mates but.. this means something terrible.

Well, that gonna stop. He gonna go to his friend area whether you like it or not and when you recruit him, he'll treat you like he is just another recruited member following you commands.

You have to have a certain amount of level or item or IQ level to evolve.

Yes they can. They evolve by level or using an item but with a different way. When they get to the evolution level, you go to one place called Luminous Spring, and you follow what's described there to evolve the Pokemon you want. But, if the Pokemon needs to be evolved with a stone, you go again to Luminous Spring and press on "Evolve with an Item". Then choose the item (stone) that is needed and the Pokemon will evolve. Yes they do. You need to get to a special spring after you finish the game then it should let you evolve your main characters
