No. you just need to go to mount coronet. the first time you go outside, you need to use rock climb. instead of going left like you usually do, go right. there is a door. go in it. surf on the water and go up the waterfall. go in the cavern. there you will find the adamant and lustrous orbs as well as the stone plate. next go to celestic town and talk to the elder she tell you stuff about dialga and palkia. then go to spear pillar and you will find a portal to dialga. remember to save before challenging him, although, he's pretty easy to catch. when you've caght him, save. then go out and back in. a new portal will lead to palkia. he's pretty easy too. good luck.
