But allegedly Sly wanted to use old footage of Weathers in the fantastic Rocky Balboa and Weathers - in a really silly move not worthy of him - allegedly said no because he wanted to be in the film itself. Considering his character Apollo was killed in Rocky IV it was a ridiculous request. Furthermore, the budget was reported to be small. Either way the big guy (Weathers) said no to the other big guy (Stallone). I know CW had to probably fight his way through Hollywood, ignoring a lot of its shafting and politics - and is also a phenomenal human being. But it's time to put the ego to one side, make up with Sly - and get a part in Expendables 3. Sly being a cultured and super successful Artiste in his own right - could say yes and they could both make up and go off somewhere and shoot some guns. Peace. OH
